In our EOT Crane, we provide, electrical interlocking safeguards which protects against any accidental simultaneous motions of the crane due to the activation of multiple push buttons at the same time.
There are three ways to complete the process of inspecting the safety hook on the overhead crane:
a) Visual inspection
b) Test operation
c) Function test
For the function test, do ensure that there is nothing hindering the movement between the safety hook and rail or the main girder web. This will in turn ensure that the trolley can move along the main girder with ease. Also check for the following:
